Founded with a deep passion for responsible tourism and a commitment to showcasing the beauty of Asia, our company has been a trusted guide for explorers since the early 1990s. With decades of expertise in the travel industry, we specialize in immersive, sustainable journeys across Nepal, India, Bhutan, and Tibet. Our focus extends beyond tourism to building meaningful connections, safeguarding natural habitats, and empowering local communities along the way.
Driven by Passion, Guided by Responsibility
Our founder, Krishna Karki, hails from the remote village of Narayansthan, Baglung, Nepal. His journey began in the shade of a tree—his first classroom—where he learned to read and write alongside a few privileged students. Inspired by his thirst for knowledge and exploration, Krishna traveled to India for further education and eventually returned to Nepal, where he worked as a naturalist in Chitwan and Bardia National Parks.
During this time, he played a key role in birds of Nepal & tiger conservation and community development projects, which solidified his deep connection to nature and commitment to sustainable tourism. Krishna also founded SWAN Nepal, a non-governmental organization that has been dedicated to supporting disadvantaged and rural communities in Nepal for the past 30 years. Through SWAN, Krishna has worked relentlessly to provide accessible healthcare, create educational opportunities for children, and empower women to achieve financial independence, thereby uplifting entire communities.
In 1994, Krishna expanded his horizons into the travel industry, leading expeditions across Nepal, India, Bhutan, Tibet, and Southeast Asia. His extensive experience and pioneering efforts have made him a true advocate for responsible tourism, leaving a lasting impact on both travelers and the destinations we visit.
